Kate Roos Design is a Minneapolis based Kitchen and Bath Design firm focused specifically on cabinetry design for the whole house, space planning and material and product selection. We work closely with each client to create unique spaces that reflect their style and personality.

Kate's appreciation for design began at a very early age. Born and raised in New York City, she developed an early love of art and architecture.
After graduating with a Studio Arts Degree, Kate moved to Minneapolis where she established the decorative painting company, Wanda, Inc. After fifteen plus years with Wanda, Kate went back to school for Kitchen and Bath Design. This transition allowed her to build on her deep rooted connections and knowledge within the interior design industry to establish Kate Roos Design in 2015.
Kate has been recognized both locally and nationally for her work and is featured in numerous publications.
LEAH DUNNE | Lead Designer

As a kid, Leah was a careful observer, always arranging things, sketching, and redesigning her surroundings in her head. It was years before this natural inclination developed into a practical, professional skill.
After graduating from the College of St. Benedict in 2009 with an English and Art degree, she spent several years working in the Event Industry, catering and designing event décor. Later, still looking for the right fit, she went back to school for Kitchen and Bath Design, finally putting her eye for detail and love for design to work. Specializing in cabinetry design and CAD, she has been in the industry since 2016. Leah loves the challenge of finding innovative, personalized design solutions for each client, and has a particular love of older homes and historic details.
When she’s not designing, you can find her in the kitchen reading a cookbook, working in her garden, or at the cabin with her husband and two kids.

Beth Mason is a Project Manager in the construction and design industry with emphasis on process improvement and client service. Beth is thrilled to be working closely with the talented team at Kate Roos Design and works to ensure our clients have an exceptional design and build experience.
Beth was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and attended Miami University. Beth lived in San Francisco, CA, and Chicago, IL before moving with her husband and three children to Minneapolis in 2010. A place she loves to call home! Favorite activities include cooking, yoga, and family hikes and bike rides around our beautiful lakes.

Laura’s interest in design began at the age of10, observing as her parents planned and built their family home in the farmlands of southeastern Minnesota. It was a hands-on experience that left an indelible impression. Laura earned an Interior Design degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2006.
After a decade of experience in the retail design industry and a brief detour into technology and healthcare operations, creative pursuits were calling, and Laura went back to school for Kitchen and Bath Design.
Drawing inspiration from her Midwestern roots and love of architectural history, Laura’s approach to design is guided by the era of the home and a commitment to balancing beauty with sensibility. Laura resides in Saint Paul with her husband, and when not designing you can find her enjoying a backyard table tennis match, expanding her Indian culinary repertoire, or planning the next improvement project fortheir1917 Craftsman home.
