This stunning riverside property needed some design finesse to take full advantage of the beautiful views, and to better fit the tastes and lifestyle of its owners. The existing distressed cabinetry, cherry floors, and traditional detailing kept the home from feeling fresh and current. A compartmentalized layout reduced sightlines and made the rooms feel disconnected. By overhauling the layout, it now allows for increased connection for gatherings. The refreshed palette and updated finishes are decidedly modern, but with a soft, feminine sensibility.
