The original design of this primary bath was a missed opportunity. A large space with high ceilings, a walk-in closet, a soaking tub, and a double vanity, it seemingly “checked all the boxes,” traditionally requested in a primary bath. However, each of these components lacked both functionality and aesthetic appeal. With odd angles, poor lighting, wasted space, and dated finishes, this primary bathroom needed to be completely reimagined to maximize its great potential. With thoughtful space planning, the primary bath is light and bright, featuring mirror-image vanities, a luxurious steam shower and new closet organization to give the homeowners the hyper-functional, yet tranquil bath they were hoping for.
